From November 27 to 30, the iconic Casa Prado in Miraflores will become the epicenter of specialty coffee, bringing together producers, exporters, baristas, businesses, and coffee lovers from across the country and around the world.

After 14 years of innovation and joint efforts, Expocafé Perú reaffirms its status as the country’s most important coffee fair and one of the most prominent on the international calendar.
National authorities support the official launch
In a ceremony held at the MINCETUR Auditorium in Lima, Expocafé Perú 2025 was officially launched as Peru’s leading platform for specialty coffee. With over a decade of history, the event has become a key space to spotlight small-scale producers, promote domestic consumption, and strengthen the global positioning of Peruvian coffee.
The launch event featured a rich program with the participation of key public and private sector authorities, all reaffirming their commitment to the sustainable and competitive development of Peruvian coffee:
- Luis Navarro, President of the Peruvian Chamber of Coffee and Cocoa
- Carlos Figueroa, Executive President of DEVIDA
- Raquel Condori Vivanco, Vice President of the National Coffee Board (JNC)
- Luis Llanos, Head of AGROMERCADO at MIDAGRI
- Teresa Mera, Vice Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR)
All speakers agreed that the future of Peruvian coffee depends on strengthening the value chain, with a focus on sustainability, innovation, and access to new markets.
An educational journey from bean to cup
During the launch event, attendees experienced an interactive tour illustrating the coffee journey—from its origin as a cherry on the plant, through depulping, drying, and roasting, all the way to its various brewing methods.
The experience allowed guests to understand the value, complexity, and dedication behind every Peruvian coffee bean. Female producers supported by DEVIDA shared their personal stories and how their work contributes to the sustainable development of the coffee sector.
Additionally, AGROMERCADO offered a cold brew bar, while the acclaimed Típica Café —from Ventanilla and winner of the 2022 Cafeterías Experience Contest— delighted attendees with a specialty latte and cappuccino bar, showcasing the creativity, skill, and professionalism of Peruvian baristas.
The return of the Cafeterías Experience Contest
One of the major highlights of this edition is the return —after a two-year break— of the Cafeterías Experience Contest. This exciting competition will bring together the best coffee shops from across the country, where participants will showcase their creativity, customer service, and unique specialty coffee concepts.
Beyond promoting excellence in service, the contest also helps connect consumers with the origin of the coffee they enjoy.
